The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

1. Respectful Rules
Note: Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you. "Please", "thank you", and "in my opinion" can go a long way to making a potentially offensive post more tactful.
- Differences of opinion and respectful debates are welcome, but do not flame, degrade, or insult a person. This includes name-calling, even when an emoticon is used in place of the word.
- Do not share information about other APU members from private messages, e-mails, or discussions from other message boards.
- "Spoilers", graphic images (including guns and violence), and graphic descriptions should be accompanied by a warning in the title .
- Unquestionably offensive material (child porn, for example) will be immediately deleted.
- Complaints about other more subjective material will be dealt with on an individual basis and action will be decided by a consensus of the moderators.
Violations of this rule may result in a notification or warning from the moderators.
2. No spam unless you qualify.
You must be a member for 30 days and have 50 posts in order to post personal links or WAHM ads in your signature, user profile, or on the boards. Failure to do this may result in a notification and your posts may be previewed or restricted until you comply. Blatant off-topic spam by first-time posters will be immediately deleted and the member will be banned.
Consequences.
Failure to comply with a notification may result in an official warning. After a warning, the violator's posts will be previewed by the moderators before being posted - how long the posts will be previewed will be determined at the time of the warning. Deliberate disregard of these guidelines can result in your being banned from the board. Three strikes and you're out.
